Eclectic, and largely electric.
Welcome to the sounds of MPeace3.

MPeace3 (aka MFP) is a fictional band. Or, more precisely, MPeace3 is not really any kind of a band at all. It is the name I, L. Graykin, often use to designate the supposed performers on my song demos. Sometimes I use a different designation. More experimental/spoken word type stuff I usually label as having been done by Scales. Sometimes I use a variant of one of those, or use my own last name. It depends.

I've been writing songs since the 70's, and when digital recording technology came along, I finally saw how I could make manifest (aurally) the notes and noises swimming in my head. I primarily use loops from Drums on Demand for rhythm and "play" (often via manually entered MIDI lines or painstaking editing of guitar takes) everything else.

I hope there's something here you like...if so, let me know. Plenty more where these came from. And if you are a vocalist or a REAL band looking for this sort of material, email post haste.

I am very interested in collaborating;
if you are a songwriter, singer, and/or musician, please contact me and
we can work out the logistics.

About L. Graykin

L. Graykin

L. Graykin: I am an English Language Arts teacher at a public school in NH. Parent of two boys, I am married to writer Justine Graykin. In my spare time I raise chickens and gripe about politics. I am also on the board of the NH Center for Integrated Curriculum, a non-profit organization which has been working to launch an innovative new middle school in southeastern NH; see NHCIC's website for more information. And I'm co-owner and a primary coordinator for the ArtSpider project for New Hampshire.

When I have time, I compose, arrange, and record music. I've been trying to play guitar for over 30 years now, though nowadays, more of my noises are made using MIDI programming.  The fine and talented folks at Drums on Demand create the drum and percussion loops I use.
